Teresa Norris

Teresa M. Norris is a mother, grandmother, retired teacher, and local author. 

“My Mother Doesn’t Remember Me.”

That is the reality that led Teresa M. Norris to write this book. During her mother’s last two years of life, as she passed away with dementia, Ms. Norris kept a prayer journal and wrote essays about the experience. She passed away in 2003, and although it’s taken her this long to get these reflections compiled and published, she sees now that others are benefitting from her story.

Almost Home – How I Lost My Mother Without Losing My Mind: A Faith Journey relates the personal and poignant story of how Ms. Norris dealt with the emotional minefield her mother’s “long good-bye” created.
